Bisexual / Polysexual - Attraction To More than 1 Gender!
Bisexual & Polysexual
What does it mean to be Bisexual?
The original definition of bisexuality is used for having an attraction for 2 genders - male and female. But in the recent years with the wide acceptance of many other genders beyond male and female, the term has evolved to encompass attraction towards 2 or more genders, usually including the individual's own gender, and other genders.
The term bisexual has evolved into an umbrella term encompassing the attraction for 2 or more genders, but not all. An individual who has attraction for all genders identify as pansexual or omnisexual.
Bisexual is not to be confused with Pansexual, which is referring to people who have attraction to ALL genders.
It is important to note that being bisexual does not mean a 50/50 split attraction for men and women. Sexual attraction levels to any gender for a bisexual person may vary, and it may also include any gender identity beyond the binary male and female genders.
Bisexuality is not a phase, who you're attracted to in whatever capacity, is 100% valid.

What does it mean to be Polysexual?
Polysexuality is frequently confused with bisexuality due to the evolution of the term bisexuality. Polysexuality is defined as having the attraction to two or more genders, but not all. As you can see, this is easily confused with bisexuality.
Traditionally, bisexuality is used as a term for attraction to male and female genders, whereas polysexuality is defined as attraction to two or more genders. But today, both terms have evolved to become umbrella terms that generally cover sexual orientations of attraction to more than 1 gender, regardless of which gender.
