Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What does it mean to identify as demisexual?
Demisexual is where people only experience sexual attraction to another person if they have formed a strong emotional connection with them. Demisexuality is not exclusively used by LGBTQ+ people, and is about the "how" rather than the "who" when it comes to attraction. A person can identify as both demisexual and bisexual, or demisexual and pansexual. You can read more about Demisexual in our blog.
Q: What do the colors on the Demisexual Pride Flag represent?
On the Demisexual flag, black represents asexuality. Grey represents the grey area between sexual and asexual, including demisexuality. White represents sexuality. Purple represents community, connecting all identities on the spectrum.
Q: Does Proud Zebra give back to the LGBTQ+ community?
A portion of the profit from every sale is donated to our local LGBTQ+ charity organizations. We also have 6 awareness pride pins where 100% of the profits are donated to specific queer charities. From our inception to Dec 31st 2024, we have donated $9,659.86. We vow to continue to support LGBTQ+ charities and our community. You can read more about our contributions here.

Each lace lock has an overall dimension of 38mm x 20mm, with the heart design measuring 29mm x 18mm. They're sold in pairs of 2 pieces of the same pride flag!
