Description
Chope is Singlish (Singaporean slang) for "to reserve" and is commonly used when Singaporeans are looking to reserve a table or seat by placing a packet of tissue paper on it. It usually happens at hawker centres or food courts especially during lunch hour. Since it is not practical to take turns to order food while leaving someone behind to reserve the table, so we invented this method of reserving a table without needing to be physically there.
A packet of tissue paper holds so much power in Singapore, saving millions of lunches every year! With great power, comes great responsibility, therefore why not use this power to move us a step closer to Repeal 377A! We designed this pin with inclusive pride flag colours featuring brown to represent minority groups, and baby blue and pink to represent transgender groups!
