We recognize that every individual is blessed with distinct gifts and deserve to be unconditionally accepted for who we are. Transgender is an umbrella term for individuals whose gender identity does not match their assigned sex. Although the term is typically used to refer to those with gender identity opposite of their assigned sex (trans men and trans women), it is not limited to them.
As found in many references, transgender may also includes people who are not exclusively masculine or feminine such as non-binary or genderqueer people.
Trans is often used as a shorthand term for transgender!

White represents those who are transitioning or considering their gender.
